Cookie Policy

1. Draft cookie policy

This Cookie Policy is launch placeholder text pending final legal review. It should be updated once final analytics, hosting, consent, marketing, and payment tools are confirmed.

2. Cookie and storage categories

• Necessary: required for authentication, security, routing, consent records, locale preferences, and core Tablevert operation. This category is always active.
• Analytics: Google Analytics or similar measurement used to understand aggregate product usage only after analytics consent is granted.
• Marketing: future marketing scripts or attribution tools only after marketing consent is granted. Marketing emails additionally require account marketing opt-in where applicable.

3. Consent controls

Anonymous visitors have consent choices stored in localStorage. Logged-in users may also have consent stored in users/{uid}.privacyConsent with timestamp and version.

Users can accept all optional categories, reject optional categories, or open preferences to update analytics and marketing choices later.

4. Google Analytics

Tablevert may use Google Analytics through NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID. Analytics is designed not to initialize or send events before analytics consent is granted.

When enabled, analytics may process page path and basic usage events. Tablevert should avoid collecting unnecessary personal data and should label metrics as estimates where applicable.

5. Campaign tracking links and QR codes

Tablevert campaign links such as /c/{campaignId} and QR codes may log campaign page views and redirect clicks for restaurant campaign dashboards. Public tracking must not expose private restaurant owner data.

Tracking events may include campaign ID, restaurant ID, optional creator ID where supported, event type, referrer, UTM fields, device type, destination URL, and timestamp.

6. Gmail and marketing preferences

Cookie consent is separate from transactional email delivery. Tablevert may send necessary Gmail transactional emails for account, billing, campaign, visit, content, payout, invoice, or admin operations.

Marketing email opt-in/out is stored in the user profile and can be updated in account settings. Marketing scripts are controlled by marketing cookie consent.

7. Managing cookies

• Use the Tablevert cookie banner or preferences modal to update optional analytics and marketing consent.
• Use browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage.
• Contact contact@tablevert.com for privacy, consent, marketing opt-out, or data deletion requests.

8. Billing, subscriptions, and retention

Mollie billing flows, invoice records, and subscription status data may require technical storage and legal retention. One restaurant location equals one subscription, new restaurants may receive a 30 calendar day trial, and cancellation remains no-refund/cancel-anytime as described in the Terms.
